Paramedics rush to scene of crash involving ambulance in Bolton

Paramedics rushed to the scene of a crash involving an ambulance in Bolton this morning (Friday).

The accident happened in Farnworth at the junction of Bradford Road and Minerva Road just before 8am.

It is believed the crash involved an ambulance and another vehicle.

Two people sustained 'minor' injuries.

A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a collision involving two vehicles at 7.57am.

“We sent an advanced paramedic to the scene, two patients had minor injuries. 

“We do not know if they went to hospital.”
