West Lothian archer Nathan Macqueen got his Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games up and running this morning with a 22nd place finish in the men's individual compound ranking event.
Competing in his second Games after finishing ninth in Rio 2016, Macqueen scored 680 in the competition and will now face Nail Gatin of the Russian Paralympic Committee in the round of 32 tomorrow.
Should he win that encounter, he will also take part in the last-16 later that day.
While Macqueen is going for an individual medal, he is also set to represent Team GB in the mixed team compound event which gets underway on Sunday.
