Iconic Thai fashion houses, rising Thai designers and world-renowned labels will gather to present their latest spring/summer 2019 collections during Bangkok International Fashion Week 2019 (BIFW 2019), which will take place at Siam Paragon and Siam Center from March 28-31.
The Grand Runway at Parc Paragon of Siam Paragon will feature 10 fashion shows by a total of 15 Thai and international labels. There will be two shows daily, at 7pm and 8.30pm, plus a 5.30pm show on the weekend.
The opening on next Thursday will kick off with an exclusive pairing of Self Portrait, a UK-based global success label by designer Han Chong, and Vatanika, a prominent Thai brand by celebrated designer Vatanika Patamasingh Na Ayudhya. Next on the runway will be Issue, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a stunning collection.
March 29 is dedicated to menswear, featuring Boys of Bangkok, an incorporation of three brands -- Leisure Projects, P Mith and Q Design and Play. Ending the second day is the eclectic Friday27Nov.
March 30 will start with Sor-Kor-Bor Warship by Prapakas before the multi-labelled Absolute Siam will take to the runway with Iconic, Six P.M. and Wonder Anatomie. The day will end with gorgeous Milin Front Row.
The last day on March 31 will see three shows by three celebrated fashion houses -- Nagara, Pichita and Tube Gallery, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary in the fashion scene.
Specially for the fashion crowd, the favourite pieces as seen on the runway will be available at the See Now Buy Now pop-up store located at the Hall of Fame, M floor of Siam Paragon.
The four-day fashion phenomenon will also present a fashion exhibition show by talented fashion students from eight leading universities and institutes, at the Visionary Stage Atrium 1 of Siam Center.
