Siam Paragon is bringing smiles to every face during "Siam Smiley Celebration: Infinite Happiness" which features festive decorations and a number of theatre performances from France and the Netherlands throughout this month.
A special collaboration with Smiley, a global brand universally recognised for its iconic smiling face symbol, this grand festivity presents myriad Smiley balloons and installation art, plus a Smiley Parade every Friday to Sunday at 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
The opening ceremony will take place at Parc Paragon on Friday, featuring a mini concert by pop stars PP Krit and Billkin Putthipong at 5.30pm. There is no admission fee but registrations are required through Onesiam SuperApp.
Besides the dazzling festive decorations and lighting, over 50 international performers will take turn to stage a 40-minute show every Friday to Sunday at 5pm and 6pm.
The first will be Le Ballerine by Teatro Pavana Theatre of the Netherlands, this Friday to Sunday. A troupe of graceful stilt walking ballerinas will amaze the audience with pirouettes and clouds of colourful tulle created from over 250m of fabric.
Then, witness performers dancing in twinkling air-light spheres as if floating in the air during Spheres, a breathtaking performance of street theatre from France, from Dec 16-18. From Dec 23-25, the Teatro Pavana Theatre will be back to stage Night Colors, a dazzling stilt walking performance with illuminated sparkling silver costumes decorated with over 170m of light wires.
On New Year's Eve, a parade will be arranged from 5.30pm at Parc Paragon.
The programme includes concerts by Bodyslam, Joey Boy, Milli, Three Man Down, Tilly Birds and Proud.
