A paraglider is in hospital after a horrific crash near at isolated Scots hill.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Tinto Hill, in South Lanarkshire, after the thrill seeker crashed near the 1,450 ft summit around 3pm yesterday.
Cops, ambulance crews, Coastguard and the Moffat Mountain Rescue Team were drafted in to help.

A coastguard helicopter was able to land near the casuality and transfer him to a car park where a land ambulance took him to hospital.
His condition is unclear at this time.
A statement from Moffat Mountain Rescue Team detailed the drama.
It read: "Just after 1500 on 20 July 2021 Police Scotland requested the team’s assistance to recover a paraglider who had crashed near the summit of Tinto Hill.
"The team responded with 3 vehicles and 16 team members along with Sottish Ambulance Service, a HM Coastguard helicopter Rescue 199 and the Police Scotland MRT.
"Initial team members on scene were able to liaise with the rescue helicopter which was able to land near the casualty and recover him to the helicopter.
"The casualty was transferred by the helicopter to a landing area near the Tinto car park and transferred to a land ambulance for onward transfer to hospital.
"The team wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
