Contrary to initial reports, which I posted, the owner of four West Virginia newspapers says the titles are not closing; they are "restructuring". Dan Butcher attributed the misunderstanding to a poorly worded email he sent to management. He added: "I created an information vacuum, but I didn't anticipate the firestorm that followed."
