
A rock climber scales a climbing wall at the FISE urban sports festival, which kicked off Friday at the former Hiroshima Municipal Stadium in Naka Ward, Hiroshima. About 490 athletes from 39 countries are competing in seven sports, including bouldering and cycling BMX freestyle park, which will both debut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and break dancing, which could debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
