Papa Johns now sells hot cinnamon buns for people who prefer pudding to pizza

After polishing off a pizza, the savoury side of our stomach is full, but the pudding part is still hungry for something sweet.

And if you're ordering from Papa Johns , the dessert of the year has just gone on sale: cinnamon scrolls.

A bit like a cinnamon bun, the Autumnal scrolls are made from fresh dough, as well as a sweet cinnamon filling, all topped off with a generous drizzle of icing.

Inspired by the Swedish treat kanelsnegl, we reckon they work just as well for breakfast as they do dessert, so it may be worth ordering them alongside your pizza to cure your hangover in the morning.

Setting you back £5.49 for a box of eight - which works out at around 68p per scroll - you can pick up the new cinnamon scrolls on the Papa Johns website.

Although you'll need to be quick, as they'll only be available for a limited time, before being removed forever.

For anyone that lives or works in London, you'll be able to get your hands on some of the scrolls for free, with Papa Johns opening up a one-off Swedish-style pop-up in London's Notting Hill named Pappa Johans.

Pappa Johan’s will be open from 10am – 4pm, both Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September, where visitors can enjoy a free portion of Cinnamon Scrolls, a selection of hot and cold drinks and a place to escape the hustle and bustle of Notting Hill.
