Papa John’s is offering customers the chance to do their dream job - getting paid to eat a takeaway .
We’ve all wished for it and now the pizza chain is making it happen.
There’s just one catch - to be in with a chance of success, you’ll need to be vegan, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Papa John’s is searching for its next ‘Chief Vegan Officer’, a role which requires someone to try out all of its vegan dishes before they go on sale.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of eight to 10 hours a month between January and June, 2020.
The role pays £100-£125 an hour, which works out at about £6,000 altogether.
Candidates must ‘be the pizza chain’s eyes and ears of upcoming vegan trends ’, and the successful applicant will be able to assist the Head of Research and Development at Papa John’s with creating new vegan options.

You’ll need to have:
- A food technology background
- A genuine passion for vegan food and trends
- A Food Science degree or similar
- Be a self-starter, curious and eager to help Papa John’s develop new vegan innovations

Excellent communication skills
The following are desirable, but not necessary:
- You'll need to have been a vegan for the last 18 months at least
- You'll frequently use #Vegan on their personal social accounts
- The have ability to remove an avocado stone in under 60 seconds
