Paolo Nutini fans in stitches as he quotes iconic Limmy sketch during Glasgow Hydro gig

Paolo Nutini has revealed himself to be a Limmy fan after quoting the Scots comedian at his gig in Glasgow last night.

The Paisley-born singer had fans in stitches last night as he performed his song 'Jenny Don't Be Hasty' at the city's OVO Hydro.

As he belted out the popular tune, he fused it together with an iconic line from one of the funny man's most famous sketches.

The catchphrase has become a cultural phenomenon in Scotland and beyond, and one concert goer was almost at the front of the stage when she caught the moment on camera and posted it on Twitter.

Sharing the footage on Twitter, @Longshotlois wrote: "“she’s even turned the weans against us” - @PaoloNutini tonight @DaftLimmy." and the comedian.

Another added: "Not what I expected! Intense psychedelia / krautrock / prog heaviosity with guest sounds from The Undertones & Limmy! Quite amazing. Iron Sky is perfection."
