While it might feel like Christmas has only just passed, it'll be here again before we know it - and it's not Christmas without a trip to the panto in Liverpool.

Pantomimes are still hugely popular in the UK and each year shows come to Liverpool that have audiences joining in and leaving with smiles on their faces.

Beasty Baby
Unity Theatre will be hosting its new Christmas show, Beasty Baby this December.
The show tells the story of the gorgeously grizzly Beasty Baby, as three people embark on a wild adventure to bring up the mischievous and lovable child.
Beasty Baby uses a mix of puppetry and live music to create a magical experience for the whole family.

Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty arrives in St Helens this October in a magical re-telling on the fairytale.
The panto will see Boo the evil fairy Carabosse curse Princess Aurora, tricking her into an eternal sleep.
The handsome prince must come to rescue the princess with true love’s kiss.

Peter Pan

The Darlings and the Lost Boys are taking over the Empire Theatre this Christmas.
The show will take families to Neverland in the swashbuckling adventure, which will see the Jolly Rancher navigating the high seas to celebrate the festive season.

Sleeping Beauty
The Everyman Theatre’s Rock n Roll Panto returns this Christmas with a rendition of Sleeping Beauty.

A new show coming to the Royal Court Studio, Merry Christmas Carol tells the story on self-made, single mum Carol, who is up for a big promotion and has some big decisions ahead of her.

Cinderella
The Epstein is hosting a Christmas extravaganza this festive season as it welcomes Cinderella.
The show will tell the story of the beautiful Cinderella, who is reduced to a life of servitude by her two ugly step sisters - but everything changes when an invitation to the grand ball arrives.
Guests can expect enchanted pumpkins, glass slippers, a sparkling fairytale carriage and a Fairy Godmother to make all your dreams come true.

Elf: A Christmas Spectacular
