Panto and CBBC favourites Clive and Danny return to Newcastle with summer comedy circus - and Mick

After 14 years of pantomime appearances in Newcastle, and a recent debut series on TV, double act Clive Webb and Danny Adams will be making more mischief in the region with a Midsummer Madness Tour.

They will be joined by third family member Mick Potts - well-known for being the butt of jokes at the annual Theatre Royal panto - who has been increasing his share of the spotlight in the first series of Danny and Mick on CBBC earlier this year  - with a second series set to follow.

The latter are Clive's sons and the three of them will be switching back from TV to live slapstick performance during a tour of their own long-rugnning show Cirque Du Hilarious, which played Tynemouth for the first time last August.

In what they say will be their biggest ever comedy tour of the North East, they will take to the road in the school holidays to perform runs in Northumberland; North Tyneside and County Durham.

The circus will stop off at Seaham Leisure Centre from July 27 to August 1, before moving on to Brockbushes Farm in Corbridge from August 6-10 and them to Beaconsfield in Tynemouth from August 13 until September 1.

Danny said: “It was an absolute dream for us to play on our home soil last year, and we loved every single second of it.

"We perform pantomime at the Theatre Royal every year but being able to put on our own show in our own big top was so special, and the feedback we had from audiences was amazing."

He added: "That’s why we wanted to come back and perform again for the Geordies in 2019.

Cirque Du Hilarious ‘Magical Mischief Tour’ comes to Tynemouth starring Danny Adams

"Audiences can expect the silly humour and circus tricks that we are known for. There is something for everyone whether you’re young, or old - like dad!"

Mick said: "We loved filming Danny and Mick. It has been great to reach even more people with the humour we are well known for in the North East.

"For us, we’ve always loved performing live and this tour gives us a chance to appear on home soil in front of audiences that know us well.

“To find out what we’ll be doing, you’ll just have to get tickets!”

Tickets to the two-hour show, which also will include international circus speciality acts and magic tricks, cost £14 for adults and £12 for children or pensioners (plus fees) and can be booked here . Family and group tickets are also available.
