Panthers WR DJ Moore denies he was ‘shook’ by Steve Smith’s taunting

Steve Smith didn’t become the most popular Panthers player of all time because of his bedside manner. The former Carolina wide receiver went viral yesterday over a video from Amazon’s “All or Nothing” series that showed Smith being typically savage to current Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore.

Smith promised to “slap the (expletive)” out of Moore if he gave him two fantasy football points. When one Twitter user shared the video claiming Moore was “shook,” Moore responded that’s never the case.

Smith is who he is, and we don’t need to make a thing of this. He’s also clearly a fan of Moore’s game and treats everybody else the same way.

As for Moore, he’s a strong breakout candidate for Carolina this year. As a rookie, he barely played the first half of the season but he still managed to lead all NFL wide receivers in total yards after contact.

Moore has had some viral moments of his own for big catches made at training camp. However, he’s also been outshone by Curtis Samuel. It will be very interesting to see how Norv Turner and Cam Newton divide up the targets between those two once the season begins.
