The Panthers injury report is still too long for comfort and it’s populated by important players. Today, Vernon Butler and Eric Reid were two of the nine who did not participate at practice.

One positive here is the progress of Little. While he’s still in the protocol and not practicing, he was spotted with his helmet and working with trainers off to the side.
Expect some of these other DNPs to get work in later in the week. Look for an update tomorrow and Friday.
Update:
All but three of Wednesday’s nine DNPs participated on Thursday. Newton and Little continue to rehab separately. Cam has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Titans, giving Allen his sixth straight start.
