The Panthers and 49ers will get started in about 90 minutes, so it’s time to check in on the inactive list.

*Since the Panthers only have 52 players on the roster right now, they only need six inactives. Coach Ron Rivera says the team will fill the open spot next week.
Newton (foot), Little (concussion) and Miller (ankle) are dealing with injuries. The rest are healthy scratches.
The only real surprise here is Dortch, who was slated to take over Ray-Ray McCloud’s spot as the return specialist. It will be interesting to see who takes over that role today.
