The Panthers injury report still reads like a tragic 100-year old Irish novel, but they did at least get some good news today. Cornerback Donte Jackson is back at practice after missing the last two games with a groin issue. However, there’s still 10 names on the DNP list.

Three-game winning streak aside, an NFL season is a war of attrition. This is going to catch up with Carolina eventually, but if the Panthers can get to the bye week without anymore major injuries and a record above .500, they should consider themselves very fortunate.
