Panthers vs. Rams: Inactives list for Week 1 matchup

The Carolina Panthers have released their first official inactives list of the 2019 season for today’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Here’s a look at who won’t be available for this one.

OT Greg Little
LB Bruce Irvin
QB Will Grier
DT Vernon Butler
LB Jordan Kunaszyk
WR Brandon Zylstra
OL Brandon Greene

Cam Newton appears to be at full strength despite suffering a mid-foot sprain just a couple weeks ago. Grier proved in the preseason he’s not quite ready to compete at this level, so he’ll likely be inactive all season. If anything happens to Newton, Kyle Allen will be coming in at quarterback.

Little is still in the protocol after suffering a concussion against the Patriots in the preseason. Irvin is dealing with a hamstring issue.

The rest are healthy scratches.
