Greg Olsen is so close.
The Carolina Panthers tight end is 93 yards away from becoming the first of his position in NFL history to record over 1,000 receiving yards for three consecutive seasons.
With three games left, it seems doable for Olsen, one of quarterback Cam Newton's favorite targets.
"For a lot of reasons I'd like to do it," he said this week. "I feel when I'm productive, it helps us offensively. I feel like the more I can impact the game, the better. And as a result you accumulate statistics. I think it all kind of goes hand in hand. We'll see.
"I've got three more games left, about 100 yards to go. I think it's one of those things (where) you don't try to get the record. You try to play well and be productive."
Olsen had 1,008 yards and six touchdowns in 2014 and 1,104 yards in 2015.
