Panthers sign returner Greg Dortch off Jets’ practice squad

The Carolina Panthers have signed WR and return specialist Greg Dortch from the New York Jets’ practice squad, the team announced Wednesday.

Dortch was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He was an All-American returner for Wake Forest, which included two punt return touchdowns. He also caught 89 passes for 1,077 yards and eight touchdowns for the Demon Deacons in 2018.

Dortch is listed at 5-feet-7 and 175 pounds. He did catch a touchdown pass from Luke Falk during the preseason before landing on the Jets’ practice squad.

Carolina cut their return specialist Ray-Ray McCloud on Tuesday.
