The Panthers have released their inactives list for today’s early game against the Buccaneers, which kicks off in about 75 minutes.
Here’s a look at who won’t be playing today.
QB Cam Newton
G Trai Turner
OT Greg Little
OLB Christian Miller
CB Natrell Jamerson
CB Donte Jackson
DE Bryan Cox Jr.
The surprise name here is Jackson, who has missed the last two games with a groin injury but practiced this week and was expected to play. The Panthers defense will likely keep relying on Ross Cockrell to play opposite James Bradberry.
On the other side of the ball, the offensive line is once again the big problem with Trai Turner and Greg Little out. On the bright side, Dennis Daley is going to start after being listed as questionable. Expect to see him line up at left tackle across from Shaquil Barrett.
The Bucs are a bit short-handed up front, too. Guard Alex Cappa and tackle Demar Dotson have both been ruled out.
