Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Vikings with a shoulder injury.
At the very least, McCaffrey is making the trip to Minneapolis, which is a good sign.
Due to ankle and shoulder injuries, McCaffrey has appeared in just three games this season, amassing 225 rushing yards and 149 receiving yards.
If McCaffrey can’t go, we’ll see more of Mike Davis. Davis has been impressive when filling in for McCaffrey this season. Davis has 449 rushing yards (4.0 yards per carry) and three touchdowns to go with 305 receiving yards and another two touchdowns.
We’ll get the official word on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. CT if McCaffrey is available.
