Panthers QB Kyle Allen on his performance vs. Packers: ‘Not good enough’

Kyle Allen played his first game at Lambeau Field today.

While he made some brilliant throws and escapes, Allen committed two turnovers that were a huge factor in the Panthers’ 24-16 loss.

To his credit, Allen is taking the blame for his mistakes. After the game, Allen told reporters his giveaways were the reason why his team lost.

Allen has said all the right things since he took over at quarterback for an injured Cam Newton. However, his consistency is still lacking from play to play and drive to drive and he’s lucky he didn’t throw four or five picks today.

The Panthers can’t expect him to play like Aaron Rodgers. However, Allen now has 10 touchdowns and 10 turnovers for the season. Not good enough is right.
