That’s more like it. Watch Panthers rookie quarterback Will Grier throw a beautiful ball for wide receiver Aldrick Robinson, ending in a 34-yard touchdown.
Grier’s impressive touch on his deep passes at West Virginia was one of the reasons the Panthers picked him in the third round.
It’s good to finally see it in action.
Aside from an ugly strip/sack fumble that got returned for a touchdown early on, Grier has actually played pretty well in the first half of this game. He’s 10/14 for 175 yards, one score and a 137.5 passer rating.
Update:
Nevermind. Grier has thrown another gruesome interception just before halftime. That set the Steelers up for a quick touchdown, giving them a 16-10 lead going into the locker room.
