The Panthers got themselves some excellent field position on their first possession of the second half thanks to a 57-yard punt return by rookie Terry Godwin. That helped setup this short touchdown pass from Will Grier to Elijah Holyfield.
Grier threw a brutal interception in the first half and Holyfield had a fumble, but those kinds of plays are to be expected in a first pro game.
The Panthers lead 13-10 early in the third quarter.
