At least one Panthers quarterback came to play tonight. Watch Taylor Heinicke hook up with Rashad Ross for a nine-yard touchdown on a play action pass.
Heinicke has looked light years better than both Kyle Allen and Will Grier. He is 8/11 for 78 yards, one score and has a 122.5 passer rating. By rights, he should be first up after Cam Newton next week against the Patriots.
The Panthers went for two and scored on a short run by Reggie Bonnafon. The score is now 27-14 with a few minutes to go.
