Panthers fans react to reports of center Matt Paradis coming to Carolina

When Ryan Kalil announced that 2018 would be his last season in the NFL, most Panthers fans probably didn’t think that they’d be getting an upgrade at the center position the next season. It certainly looks like that’s going to be the case, though.

According to a report by Adam Schefter at ESPN, former Broncos center Matt Paradis is expected to sign a three-year deal with Carolina worth a total of $27 million. Ranked No. 2 at center by Pro Football Focus last season, Paradis is not only an upgrade over Tyler Larsen, he’s also better than Kalil has been the last few years.

Let’s check in with Panthers fans on Twitter to see how they’re reacting to the report of Paradis coming to Carolina.

There’s no reason not to be happy about this one. Assuming he can stay healthy and on the field, Paradis should become a fan favorite in no time.
