Panthers CB Donte Jackson to participate in 40-yard dash competition

40 YDs of Gold will crown the king of speed in a bracket-style competition of the 40-yd dash on Sat. 6/29. #Titans safety Kevin Byard, Tedd Ginn, Budda Baker, Xavien Howard, Trae Wayans, Donte Jackson, Robby Anderson, DRC and more are competing. Chad Johnson will be the host.

Some of the fastest players in the NFL are getting together for a bracket-style 40-yard dash competition, according to Turron Davenport at ESPN. One of the participants will be second-year Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson.

Former Carolina wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. will also be competing. Ginn believes he is the fastest receiver in the league and recently challenged anyone to a race for $10,000 to prove it.

As for Jackson, he ran the fastest 40-yard dash at last year’s scouting combine, so his chances should be about as good as anybody’s.
