Panku opening Edinburgh kiosk selling Asian street food including sushi and curry

Panku are opening their first Asian street food kiosk in Edinburgh.

The YO! Group fusion street food experts offer an “array of hand rolled sushi, popular curries and lighter snacks we offer exciting, great value dishes bursting with authentic flavours, we draw our inspiration from Japan, Korea and Thailand.”

The new kiosk will be opening up inside the Asda Superstore in Leith, after the store had a £3 million redevelopment recently.

The supermarket on Sandpiper Drive was refurbished as Asda tries to meet the needs of customers in today’s evolving market.

Alongside the new Panku there will also be a Greggs bakers and a new Decathlon aisle in store.

Panku is part of the YO! Group and they are trying to bring Asian street food for customers to enjoy on the go as they go about their weekly shopping.

They are currently advertising online for team members for their Edinburgh kiosk.

On the job adverts, Panku promise new applicants they “will learn the art of sushi.”

They state: “Panku is a celebration of Pan Asian Street food, where our Teams learn how to prepare healthy and indulgent fusion street food, as well as learning the art of Sushi.

“We currently operate over 35 kiosks within ASDA stores across the UK and we have more openings planned. Being part of a growing brand means not only job security, but the chance to grow your career alongside us.

“Our menus give you the chance to learn new skills and seriously expand your culinary horizons. Along with competitive payrates, we support our people with structured training and development opportunities and inspire each other to be the very best at what we do.”
