CHANDIGARH: Panjab University Teachers Association (PUTA) will hold its election on October 28. Detailed schedule for the election has been released by the PUTA.
While sharing the details, PUTA officials stated that the final list for the elections had been prepared on Wednesday. Last date of filing nominations is October 16 between 12pm and 1pm. Scrutiny of nominations would be done on October 16 after 1pm while publication of valid nominations would be done by October16 evening. Withdrawal of nominations can be done on October 17 between 3.30pm and 4pm.
Final list of candidates would be released on October17 and the elections will be held on October at law auditorium.
PUTA officials added that library staff working at AC Joshi Library and different departments were eligible to contest for executive positions from Group-I. Programming staff working at the computer centre and different departments/offices (director, system administrators, system managers and programmers) are eligible to contest for executive positions from Group-II.
