Cian McLaughlin: Panic after young Dublin man vanishes as car found abandoned

An urgent alert has been sent out around the USA after a young Dublin man vanished at a famous National Park.

Cian McLaughlin, 27, has officially been a missing person in America since 2pm on June 8 after last being seen in Jackson, Wyoming.

The Dubliner's car was later located at the Lupine Meadows Trailhead in Grand Teton National Park but his planned route is unknown.

Park rangers believe he could be hiking in the Garnet Canyon, the Surprise, Amphitheater, Delta or Taggart areas of the park.

On Sunday, which marked five days since McLaughlin was last seen, an appeal to the public was issued to help find the young Irishman with search operations continuing today.

McLaughlin is described as being 6´0¨ in height with brown hair and brown eyes.

The missing person's notice also said he has an Irish accent and a thin/fit build.

Locals who have any information regarding McLaughlin's whereabouts are urged to contact Teton Interagency Dispatch Center at 307-739-3301.
