The launch comes amid growing demand for intensifying efforts in distance learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Head of the Al-Shorouq Center for Economic Studies, Abdul Rahman Baashan confirmed that investment in the education sector is as steady as the real-estate sector, citing Vision 2030 that has set out a number of promising programs that contribute to the economic openness of the sector.
He added that spending in the public education sector surpasses $51.4 billion, noting the high competition when it comes to providing the best quality of education and raising the sector’s efficiency.
Baashan revealed that studies show that there are over 4,800 investment opportunities in the education sector with a capacity for around 80,000 students.
Developers have launched the “Talimi” e-platform designed to improve communication between teachers, students and the education institution.
Keeping up with the requirements of both general and higher education, the platform offers analysis technology that accompanies the student’s education journey.
The platform is offered to training centers, schools, institutions and administrations.
It provides users with access to subject materials, tests and assignments in a smooth manner. It also grants accesses to parents monitor their performance.
The platform can be connected to a smartphone and is compatible with all softwares. It can also be adjusted to accommodate different education institutions and stages.
The platform’s developers insist that investment in the education sector calls for the creation of flexible technologies that do not compel educational institutions to change their procedures to fit the system.
