THE Pancake Place in Dunfermline has closed after 35 years in the city.
The Dunfermline restaurant is one of four branches that have been closed. Other restaurants include Dundee, Pitlochry and Elgin.
Previously, the chain had branches across Scotland.
Monday’s news will result in the loss of 45 jobs.
The Pancake Place had long been a staple for sweet treats in the Kingsgate centre, offering breakfast and café snacks.
