Pamela Anderson and film producer Jon Peters are not only back together - they’re officially married.
The 52-year-old actress and animal rights activist wed Peters, 74, on January 20, in a private ceremony in Malibu.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anderson and Peters first dated over 30 years ago. In recent years, rumors have linked Anderson to French footballer Adil Rami and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, but the former Baywatch star is said to have been keeping her rekindled romance with Peters quiet.
Confirming their marriage, Peters said, “Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much.”
Peters, who first met Anderson at the Playboy mansion in the 1980s, added, “There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but - for 35 years - I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild - in a good way,” he said. “She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated.”
Anderson commented on the news with a poem, where she wrote, “We love each other without conditions,” and called herself “a lucky woman.”
Both Anderson and Peters have been married before, with Anderson most famously marrying Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee in 1995, and later marrying Kid Rock and Rick Salomon.
Peters is known for dating Barbra Streisand, who starred in the 1976 remake of A Star Is Born, which Peters produced (he also produced the most recent version of the film with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga).
Among those who attended the ceremony were Anderson’s sons Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger, as well as Peters’ ex-wife Christine-Forsyth-Peters and daughters Caleigh, Skye and Kendyl.
