Pamela Anderson turned heads at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday as she unveiled a dramatic new look on the front row of the Mugler show.
The actress, 58, long synonymous with her trademark blonde hair, swapped her usual style for a striking red bob with a shaggy fringe. Anderson sat alongside fashion royalty Anna Wintour and fellow actress Naomi Watts, with the trio spotted laughing and chatting before the runway began.
For the occasion, the Baywatch star wore a sculpted wet-look black midi dress with padded shoulders and long sleeves, paired with slingback heels and oversized gold earrings. Wintour, 75, opted for a green leather coat layered over a floral print dress, while Watts, 57, chose a sleek navy pinstripe gown that highlighted her silhouette.
Anderson’s new look is understood to be linked to her latest film project. She is set to star opposite Steve Coogan in the French movie Love Is Not the Answer, beginning filming after Fashion Week.

Her inspiration reportedly came from Scandinavian screen icons Bibi Andersson, Liv Ullmann and Gunnel Lindblom, with Parisian hairdresser John Nollet tasked with bringing the vision to life.
The transformation comes amid a wider shift in how Anderson presents herself publicly.
In recent years she has pared back her signature glamorous image, often appearing with minimal make-up. A source close to the star said she has been applauded by fans around the world for embracing her natural look, adding: “She has become an icon who is now known for baring her all-natural self.”
Anderson herself has spoken about wanting to step away from her past “Barb Wire” and Baywatch persona and focus on being taken seriously as an actor.
She previously described her turn as Roxie Hart in Broadway’s Chicago as life-changing, saying it gave her a new sense of confidence in her craft.

Her appearance at Mugler follows a busy few weeks in the spotlight. At the Deauville American Film Festival last month, she received the 2025 Talent Award and addressed rumours about her friendship with The Naked Gun co-star Liam Neeson, 73.
Dismissing speculation their connection was a PR stunt, she told the audience: “I do not and will never feed into PR stunts. That would be a death sentence. I'm authentically driven.”
While some questioned their chemistry, insiders insist the pair’s bond is genuine. “Neither of them needs the publicity,” one source said. “Everything between them has been real – they simply enjoy each other’s company.”
