Palworld dev Pocketpair demonstrates that it's pro mods, even those cursed NSFW ones, by releasing a patch to improve their stability

Palworld developer Pocketpair has launched a patch to improve mod stability less than 24 hours since its last patch. While the last patch focused on general bug fixes, this new update is specifically for the PC version of the game, and comes days after a studio lead acknowledged two NSFW mods on social media, so make of that what you will.

The creature-collecting, survival-crafting game has supported mods since its early access release in 2024. However, the number of mods created for Palworld has dramatically increased this month thanks to the game's full 1.0 release. This has inspired mod developers to create even more additions for this stable version of the game.

The recent Palworld v1.0.2 patch launched for all platforms and was focused on bug fixes, particularly ones that occurred during certain boss fights. This new patch, v1.0.2.100993, has been released for PC players only, and focuses solely on increasing the stability for mods, so you should run into less issues while using them. The patch notes also claim that the update shouldn't affect crossplay with other versions, so you can catch Pals with your pals in peace.

While the mod stability patch was likely in development before Palworld lead John 'Bucky' Buckley cheekily responded to those NSFW mods on social media, players found the timing suspiciously hilarious. Coincidence or not, feel free to take advantage of the patch by creating and downloading Palworld mods to your heart's content.

Yes, the Palworld devs see your cursed NSFW mods: "I don't think this is official."
