Pals of Love Island's Ollie deny he has bloody past as game hunter as pics surface

Love Island hasn't even started, but aristocrat Ollie Williams has already landed himself in hot water.

The 23-year-old aristocrat has been accused of game hunting with sources alleging that now-deleted photos show him posing beside dead animals.

The pictures appear to show Ollie proudly grinning beside a warthog, water buffalo and giant eland to allegedly promote hunting business Cornish Sporting Agency.

However, another source close to Ollie has slammed any insinuation that Ollie hunts for sport.

They say that the soon to be reality star was actually culling sick animals who were a 'threat' to the pack's survial.

The insider told the Mirror: "Ollie is a passionate conservationist and worked with an anti-poaching unit in Mozambique.

"Conservation is crucial to the survival of animals and as part of that work Ollie was involved in the culling of sick animals who were a threat to the health of the herd.

"There is a very big and important difference between trophy hunting and the conversation work Ollie has previously been involved in.

"At no point has Ollie organised or booked anybody to go to Africa to shoot game."

Mirror Online has reached out to ITV for comment.

Ollie's already drawn attention to himself with his champagne-fuelled lifestyle and jet-setting ways.

He joked that his old man had threatened to cut him out of his will if he followed through with his plans to head into the villa.

Dad Andrew is the Lord of the Manor of Lanhydrock in Cornwall - removing Ollie from his will would have cost the 23 year old an estimated £15.8 million.

"Initially," he explained, "Dad said he would write me out of the will.

"He was jesting, of course. But as the process got more and more serious Dad is saying, 'If you get through, I hope you take me to South Africa with you.'

"He's now on board."

Despite his enormous wealth, Ollie claims it's not the factor that's a winner with the ladies.

"In the past, girls have never known about my money," he insisted, "Until I have taken them home.

"I'm not a snob. And I don't brag. I'm very humble and understated.

"The only way you find out is when you drive down the driveway and they see the estate - and go, 'What the f***?!'"

Still, his idea of a perfect date is a twelve course taster menu with wines.

"That's always a great first date," he's certain, "It could be awkward with 12 courses to go if you didn't like each other...but it's a beautiful date."

*Love Island is back on Sunday 12th January at 9pm on ITV2.
