A Palos Park police officer was hospitalized after his vehicle was rear-ended Monday in the southwest suburb.
The officer was finishing his response to a different crash on Wolf Road about 9:10 a.m. when a vehicle behind him lost control and crashed into his squad car, Palos Park police said.
The officer was taken to Palos Health where he was treated and later released, police said.
Police did not say whether or not the other driver was cited or charged with a crime.
