Paloma Faith, 44, announces she’s expecting third child in 'OAP pregnancy' post

Paloma Faith has revealed she is pregnant with her third child.

The 44-year-old singer, who has two daughters with her artist ex partner Leyman Lahcine, announced that she is 18 weeks pregnant.

Faith - who was brutally booted out of Celebrity Traitors earlier this month - shared two snaps of her baby bump on Instagram on Friday and wrote: “Plot twist, mother is mothering (again).”

She added the hashtags “more than geriatric pregnancy,” “oap pregnancy,” and “OAP MILF”.

Faith is believed to be expecting the child with her boyfriend Stevie Thomas, who is the director a music venue in Birmingham.

Faith welcomed a daughter with her ex Lahcine in December 2016 and a second baby girl in February 2021. They split in 2023.

The Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer went public with her new man Thomas in March, but they had been dating secretly for more than a year.

Earlier this year, Faith revealed she would consider marrying Thomas after previously being against it.

Speaking on Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo's Newlyweds podcast in March, she said: “This is a strange thing.

“I wasn't married to my kids' dad and I've always been someone that's very anti-marriage, because the history of it is that it's about ownership of women and I'm the child of a feminist.

“Weirdly, I don't know what's changed in me, but this guy gives me a bit like 'Oh well'.”

She went on: “I remember when I met him I was like, I'm never going to get married, don't ever ask me’. And then over time now I'm like, ‘Yeah I don't know, I'll keep an open mind’. I can just feel myself softening.”

“If my mum hears this she'll be like, ‘What the hell is going on with you? Is it a mid-life crisis?’ I do think having kids with someone is stronger than marriage from experience.”

Faith previously revealed she had six rounds of IVF before welcoming her first and second children, during which time she had an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage.

She also revealed she had a miscarriage while filming Pennyworth, but didn’t tell anyone out of fear of losing work.

Speaking to Elizabeth Day on the How To Fail podcast, she said: "It started at work and it was a fight scene on Pennyworth. I just thought to myself, it's gone so I might as well carry on with what I was doing. I had to go to the toilet 9 times.

"I told them I ate something bad last night because I knew if I told them they would escort me home. I didn't want to. I would just be going home without work and without a viable pregnancy."

She admitted that the journey to motherhood involved several “harrowing” rounds of IVF.

Her first round was enough to put anyone off after experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the uterus, most commonly in the fallopian tubes. After that, she then discovered that she had two viable pregnancies "quite quickly" in 2016.

The birth of her first child in 2016 was no walk in the park, with the How To Leave A Man hit-maker describing it as "actually unbearable" after she was told she would have a premature baby after she suffered PROMs (premature rupture of membranes) at six months.

Due to what was happening, the former The Voice UK judge explained that she had just seven hours of sleep across one week and needed to undergo an emergency cesarean section.
