Pupils from Palnackie Primary School had been invited to visit the tall ship La Malouine, which is currently berthed in the village harbour.
All the children in the village call it the pirate ship.
Because of the coronavirus outbreak pupils could not take up the offer and remained on dry land.
Instead the P1-4 class acted out their own pirate ship adventure. Wee Maddie was put in jail by the pirates.
