Clinton Morrison says he feels Aaron Wan-Bissaka should stay put at Crystal Palace this summer, despite interest from Manchester United.
The 21-year-old has had a superb season for Palace, winning the club's player of the year and players' player of the year awards after starring at right-back for the Eagles.
His performances have attracted attention from several clubs, with Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund among the potential suitors for the Croydon-born defender.
But former Palace striker Clinton Morrison says he feels that the Eagles' academy product should stay in south London this summer as he continues his development.
“I think another year for [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka and then he can go to the next level," said Morrison, speaking to football.london at the Play with Legends event at Selhurst Park at the weekend.
“I think he will get into the England squad while he is at Palace and then he can go to the next level.
“And it is better for us having an England international."
Wan-Bissaka has featured at U21 level for England, but has not yet received a call-up to the senior squad, despite his impressive form in the Premier League for Palace.
The 21-year-old is expected to be involved as England's U21 side compete at the European Championships this summer.
