Hundreds of people have drowned in the last few years in one of Pakistan's most popular rivers in the Swat Valley.
Locals say the main cause is a lack of awareness among tourists and non-existent emergency service.
But one man has taken it upon himself to provide the only rescue and recovery service for about half the length of the river.
Al Jazeera's Osama Bin Javaid reports from Swat in northern Pakistan.
