Pakistan media must overcome health taboos

Pakistan's media should highlight women's health issues, says Mushahid Hussain Syed, chairman of the country's foreign relations committee. The senator believes the media must overcome any lingering taboos by educating people about the problems of unsafe pregnancies, unsafe abortion, post-abortion care, and it must also deal with controversial topics such as honour killings.
