Paisley to be hotter than Madrid tomorrow as early summer weather arrives in Renfrewshire

Temperatures in Paisley are expected to far exceed those in Madrid tomorrow, as a spell of summer weather arrives early in Renfrewshire .

It may well be a day for 'taps aff' and 'bbq's oot' on Friday, with the sun forecast to shine brightly throughout on the west coast of Scotland.

While the temperature is set to reach 17C this afternoon (Thursday), tomorrow may be the best day to make the most of the sunshine, with 20C of heat forecast for the middle of the afternoon.

In the Spanish capital, Madrid, locals may have to put their hats and scarves on, with the temperature to reach a lowly 13C.

Meanwhile, across Renfrewshire, the sun is expected to shine in the sky from first thing in the morning, right through until 7pm at night, when cloudy spells may begin.

And the good weather is likely to last throughout the weekend, according to the Met Office. Although not as hot as Friday, at 17C, Saturday will offer similarly sunny weather, albeit with more cloud.

It's a similar picture on Sunday, yet on Monday we can once more expect wall-to-wall sunshine, with temperatures predicted to peak at the 19C.

However forecasters are warning us to make the most of the weather, with rain and dark clouds expected to greet our shores once more from next Wednesday.
