Paisley theatre students set for fundraising fashion show at M&S store this weekend

Theatre students in Paisley are taking part in a special fashion this weekend to model a new clothing range at M&S.

Talented members of local group PACE will join representatives from JAEGER in the event to raise funds for the theatre company.

The in-store fashion show at M&S Braehead will showcase the new clothing collection on both Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14.

It comes as Braehead, along with 13 other stores across the UK stocks JAEGER to its clothing department.

Locals are invited to attend and check out the new range while supporting the local theatre students.

Money raised from the event will go towards building a new theatre in Paisley.

Theatre students and JAEGER representatives alike will model looks from the new range and an M&S Insider will compère the show, giving insights on the chosen pieces for the catwalk.

The shows take place between 10am and 4pm this Friday and Saturday with the half-hour shows starting every hour on the hour near the womenswear department.

Jenni Mason, Artistic Director of PACE Youth Theatre said: “We’re delighted to be working with M&S Braehead to help launch their new JAEGER range in-store.

"PACE has a longstanding relationship with M&S, which offers our members the chance to get involved with some unique and exciting opportunities.

“As a small charity we have benefitted hugely from the generosity of M&S and their customers, and are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support of our work.”

Fiona Lambert, Managing Director of JAEGER, added: “Our expansion into M&S Braehead is the latest exciting step on the journey for JAEGER as part of the M&S family.
