Paisley teenager missing for over a week spotted in Glasgow Tesco store

Police have launched a fresh appeal to help trace a boy missing from Paisley for over a week after he was spotted in a Glasgow supermarket.

Greig Cochrane, 15, has been missing since Sunday, December 5.

Officers say he was spotted at the Tesco Extra store in Maryhill around 10pm last night (December 12).

Greig is described as white, 5ft 9in in height, with short brown hair, and was wearing orange tracksuit bottoms and an orange tracksuit top when he was last seen.

Sergeant Phil Moir said: “We are keen to trace Greig to make sure he is safe and would appeal to anyone with any information on his whereabouts or who has seen anyone matching his description to get in touch.

“Greig has gone missing before and was previous traced in Glasgow, however has links to Barrhead, Bathgate and Ayr."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 3375 of 12 December, 2021.

UPDATE: Greig Cochrane has been found safe and well.
