Paisley set for Easter Monday scorcher as temperatures soar

It's forecast to be a scorcher in Paisley today with temperatures set to soar on Easter Monday.

The sunny weather we experienced at the end of last week and into the weekend will continue today, while it's going to be hotter in Renfrewshire than it is in Barcelona.

That's because temperatures will reach 22C in the middle of the afternoon, according to the Met Office . By 10am the mercury hit 15C.

And the sun is anticipated to shine the whole day and throughout Tuesday as well, yet we could see rain as early as Wednesday evening.

The temperature will start to dip, a little, tomorrow, although we can still expect to experience 19C of heat mid-afternoon.

Three is the magic number for Paisley parking campaigners

Yet on Wednesday, it will be even cooler, 16C, as the skies become covered by more cloud.

And then the rain arrives - the weather will turn at around 9pm on Wednesday night, and forecasters say it could stay that way for almost a week.

Therefore, the long and short of it is - make the most of glorious weather just now, as it won't last long!
