A charity which works to provide school uniforms for youngsters in need is hosting an open day.
Anyone who is struggling with the spiralling costs of clothing for their offspring is invited to head along.
The group, Renfrewshire Helping Those in Need, aims to ensure there is "no family going through the worry of not having the basic necessities to live" by dishing out second-hand uniforms, ties, blazers, PE kits, school bags, packed lunch boxes, shoes and stationery.
They're hosting a drop-in for anyone who wants to find out more, with the invite reading: "Struggling to meet the rising costs of school uniforms?
"Come along to our open day where you will be greeted by a friendly face and find out how we can help you without the fear of being judged."
Anyone who wants to donate is also more than welcome too.
The group adds: "The summer holidays are now upon us and so is for many parents, the dreaded rush to buy school uniforms and face the ever inflating high prices.
"We rely on kind hearted and compassionate peoples donations from our community to make our goals a reality. Please consider donating to our cause.
"We are asking the parents and carers of school children to donate their child’s uniforms that are still in a good condition to then give to families who are unable to or struggle to afford this basic right."
The open day takes place on Monday, August 12 at Tannahill Centre in Blackstoun Road, Ferguslie form 10am - 2pm.
