Following the church’s last service in August 2018, the Coats Memorial Preservation Trust, a group of trustees, launched a campaign to save the iconic building for future generations to enjoy.
Together, they raised funds to upgrade the building so it can be used as a multipurpose venue for weddings, corporate events, arts and music, festivals, graduations and proms.
