Paisley robbery: Man taken to hospital with serious injuries

A man has been seriously injured after being robbed in Paisley.

The alarm was raised about the incident on Lang Street at around 7.20pm on Saturday.

The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said inquiries into the robbery and assault were ongoing and officers were following a positive line of inquiry.
