Paisley Road West traffic lights down after crash

Motorists travelling on Paisley Road West are advised to drive with caution with traffic lights down on the street following a crash.

Lights at the junction of Paisley Road West at Crookston Road and Sandwood Road aren't working, following yesterday's accident.

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) confirmed: "Due to an earlier road traffic accident, the traffic signals at the junction of Paisley Road West at Crookston Road and Sandwood Road are not working. The signals will remain off until the damaged equipment can be replaced.

"All road users should approach the junction with extra care. Further updates will be issued when more information becomes available."
